VOCABULARY:

  1. Saved up – to keep money over time for a specific purpose.
    Example: “She saved up for months to buy a new phone.”

  2. Earn – to get money by working or providing a service.
    Example: “He earns extra money by tutoring students on weekends.”

  3. Credit card – a plastic card used to buy things now and pay later.
    Example: “I used my credit card to book the hotel online.”

  4. Payment – the act of giving money for something.
    Example: “The final payment for the laptop is due next week.”

  5. Receive – to get something that is given or sent.
    Example: “She received a gift card for her birthday.”
