VOCABULARY:
1. Go as planned
Meaning: Happen the way you expected or hoped.
Example: Our trip didn’t go as planned because our flight was delayed and it rained all week.
2. Exotic food
Meaning: Unusual or different food, often from another culture or country.
Example: In Thailand, I tried exotic food like fried insects and spicy coconut soup.
3. Cultural differences
Meaning: The ways in which cultures vary in customs, traditions, or behavior.
Example: Traveling to Japan helped me understand cultural differences in communication and manners.
4. Travel companion
Meaning: A person you travel with.
Example: I prefer having a travel companion because it’s more fun to share experiences.
5. Plan ahead
Meaning: To prepare or organize something before it happens.
Example: I always plan ahead by booking hotels and checking the weather before a trip.
