VOCABULARY:

1. Physical store

Meaning: A real, in-person shop where you can see and buy products.
Example: I prefer shopping in a physical store because I can try on clothes before buying.

2. Compare prices

Meaning: To check the cost of an item in different places before deciding where to buy.
Example: Before buying a new phone, I always compare prices online and in stores.

3. Return an item

Meaning: To take something back to the store after buying it, usually for a refund or exchange.
Example: I returned the shoes because they were too small and uncomfortable.

4. Thrift shopping

Meaning: Buying second-hand or used items, often at lower prices.
Example: Thrift shopping is fun—you never know what cool things you’ll find!

5. Advertising influences

Meaning: The way ads affect your decisions or make you want to buy something.
Example: I didn’t plan to buy anything, but the advertising really influenced me.
